How we handle referrals
Most of our clients come back to us time and again, or are recommended by existing clients. Here is how we handle the referrals we receive from others.
The majority of our clients are either existing clients who come back to us time and again, or clients recommended to us by those existing clients based on the level of service we have provided.
We also receive referrals from mortgage lenders, mortgage advisors and estate agents.
Referral fees, in plain terms
We currently pay a referral fee of between £50–£75 plus VAT to those estate agents.
Such referral fees are paid by this firm as a business expense and under no circumstances do we add such referral fees on to our estimates of charges. We do this because we feel that it would be unfair to charge a referral fee to our clients.
